All right then, time to check out some of the albums you've rated for February but which are

Cool and smooth to kick off with, great bass rhythm, very – well, there's just no other word for it – cool. Second track is a little more upbeat, little more frantic, and the banjo on “Banjo Bam Bam” is, again, cool and different. I like the introduction of wild electric guitar on “Hand On Your Stomach”. Stupid thing to say, I do know this, but it almost sounds like it could be the blues equivalent of a drone track. Okay I'll move on. Trumpet (cornet?) in the next track is great, really upbeat and happy, makes you want to move your feet, and I don't mean towards the exit, while the harmonica, one of my favourite “backup instruments”, adds a great feel to “D to E Blues”. A great album to kick back to and not worry too much about dissecting. After all, this is the blues, ya dig?
