Like it or not (and I don't) we're living in the age of Trial by Internet. There's no way to stop it. People (who have not the full details nor, usually, a clue) will make up their minds depending on their own stance/bias/how bored they are, and their decision will influence all their friends, followers, family. It will snowball like a huge ****ing avalanche of ****, and the truth will be buried a long way beneath as the ball rolls on, destroying lives, careers and reputations in the process.
Trials? Innocent until proven guilty? Welcome to the 21st century, people.
