Just because classical music is the predeccesor to todays music, doesnt mean that you have to like it. I'm not saying that it is the worst music, because I don't think that there is a worst kind of music.
But saying that you cannot dismiss it because "where would we be without it" is a redundant argument. So what, before classic was other kinds of music. Chanting, scream singing (not the metalcore kind), and I bet that if you heard it, you would think that it completely sucks, and, is the worst music that you have ever heard.
