Oh man, that just sounds like a made-up name, doesn't it? But no: it's her real name. Okay, my usual worry about this being country pop disappeared as soon as she started singing “Pass the Pain”: now there's a proper country song. And it's just continued in that vein so far. Real honky-tonk stuff; **** Josh Turner: this is the real country music! “I Feel Like Hank Williams Tonight”, “Why People Change”, “Nothing Wrong With Texas” - all top country songs. Think I'm a fan now. Seriously impressed.
