Just wanted to add that La Bamba is actually over 100 years old -
and the famous rock 'n' roll version was from 1958.
You may be thinking that it sounds the same only because
Giles Farnaby's Dream is a son jarocho which is
the Veracruz style that La Bamba adopted.
Giles Farnaby, BTW, was a virginalist from the 1600s.
