Well, interestingly, you have two cuts from his first album,
but you don't have the overwhelming hit which was "
Always There" -
something that you heard often on the radio then - and that lived
another life a dozen years later within the confines of acid jazz circles.
Even the title tune from his third album got more play than any of the three linked vids.
Good, crafty player with an eye for the jazz nickels, but I think his siblings -
especially
Hubert were more interesting to me.
Kinda wished he had joined the
CTI crowd back then.
