Yes, please do. Electric cars are powered from batteries charged by electricity made from burning oil in power stations. So, as it will reduce emissions on the road, the problem still lies with the power stations.
I can't see any simple way out of this. Maybe we shall all have to go back to pedal power and abandon cars altogether when the fuel runs out??
