I'm finally getting back to all the stuff you people have been throwing my way. I intend to catch up pretty quickly, but intentions are one thing, my laziness is another.

So I listened to your tracks, Nea, and I have to be honest. I'm sort of bored by this. It's very nice, but really almost too nice. I'm getting diabetes from how bright, airy, fluffy and cute this is. I'm not usually a proponent for avant garde, but I found myself wishing someone would crash the party with an atonal saxophone solo or something - just to shake things up a little.
I like a lot of "beautiful" music, but I've never really been able to appreciate "dream pop" and similar, inherently very cutesy indie pop variants. I just feel like there's something missing from the formula, to make it actually grab me. Some vitality, depth, detail, more insistend vocals or whatever else might have helped.
