I came across the point that there’s no evolutionary purpose to sustained happiness. Also, I'm not actually evolved to live in this world but rather my ancestors world. After a certain point it’s like I have to invent reasons to soldier on instead of just feeling like it’s right when I'm young. I try to play it off like I'm dissatisfied with work or marriage. I try to change things up but the dark cloud stays because what’s really unsatisfactory is life itself.
