The Negro World Series obviously didn’t compete against the world but at least the champion really was the best baseball team in the world.
I poked fun at the World Cup to poke fun at people you insist on insisting that the World Series is a misnomer. MLB is by far the gold standard for the world’s baseball.
If the Irish or Australian football leagues want to call their champions world champions I’m sure they are.
