Also, pomeranians are great. My uncle used to have one years ago. Does your sister's have a temper? This one was very sweet and affectionate, but he could snap and just bite you if you weren't super gentle with him - it's that wolf DNA. Sucks about the meds, they always come with side effects so it's almost better to just work through the issues.

All dogs have wolf DNA. Small dogs are generally bred for or descended from rodent-killing breeds though, so they're snappier.
