I play video games, so I've hurled a controller into a wall more than once. Controllers are expensive, and so are walls. I've learned not to play difficult games if I'm not feeling very relaxed. I also once punched a wall so hard that my hand hurt for a long, long time after. The wall was allright - it was concrete
I don't remember what upset me so much. I'm usually a very calm guy though.
