The Walking With Jesus songs is what got me into Spacemen 3 too. They have at least two great albums but they did tail off in the end. Still, for Sound of Confusion and the Perfect Prescription, I'd highly recommend them if you're into retro psychedelia.
And in the 'you learn something everyday' department, I just discovered, via wiki, that Spacemen 3 evolved into Spiritualized. Now those are two totally different sounding bands when you think about it
