This is not so much a dream as it is more of an "episode."
I don't dream very often these days, probably to do with the obvious. But one thing I remember clearly is waking up one night in the middle of the night (I have night terrors almost regularly) and breaking open my window trying to get out. I literally pulled not only the window open without unlocking it, I also ripped the frame that sits on the window sill to keep bugs outside. A few minutes later, my cat jumps up on the windowsill and then I woke up.
Then I wake up and realize that I'm trying to jump out my window.
