The golden rule isn't
"DON'T EVER HIT WOMEN." The golden rule is
"TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WISH TO BE TREATED." And it applies to BOTH genders.
I am not a woman beater. I grew up seeing my mom get abused. I saw my sister get abused. I've seen my female friends get abused. I've fought guys for hitting females. I'm against it.
BUT, if some female was attacking me, I would fight her off, so it would be hypocritical of me to say NEVER hit a female under ANY circumstance. Just trying to get people to speak correctly and truthfully.
