Sort of gives me the folk punk feel a recent album did, though in a more upfront and abrasive way, whereas that other one was very gentle and laid-back. Some it does come across as a little try-hard though, such as “Sissy”, but generally not bad at all. I wouldn't be a fan, but it's not the worst album I've ever come across. Hell, it's not even the worst album I've listened to today. Not really my thing though.
