Good honest country music, lot of family values being espoused in songs like “Roots”, “My Old Man” and “Family Table”, though I have to admit “Start Over” shamelessly rips off “Under the Boardwalk”, and the closer copies the general melody of Steve Earle's “Fort Worth Blues”. Not a bad album overall, still.
