What surprised me was how I didn't even feel that they passed for just farily well made entertainment. Take something like that silly old movie,
Romancing the Stone. It's simple blockbuster entertainment, but it's a fairly handsome film with some spirited acting and a sense of fun. These X-Men movies just feel draining and charmless.
I'd like the see Logan eventually. At least it looks like something a bit different from the rest of the series.
