I wanted to delete my Steam account today, but it turns out to not be an easy thing. You have to write support. Then wait for a reply. Then they tell me that I need to give them the Steam Key that the account was activated with originally, as if I could possibly remember that. ****ing lol.
Anyway, why do I want to kill my Steam account? Just because I virtually NEVER use it and never will again. Recently, I've been sent these messages that some ******* has been accessing my account from somewhere in Britain, and I don't want anyone to siphon any details about my connected email account, passwords I like to use, etc. So, I changed the Steam password to some gobbledy**** today. Might even connect it to an email account made just for the purpose, just to spite Steam and leave it stranded.
It's no biggie, I know. It's just that it annoys me that they won't let me cut this nuisance/theoretical security liability off 100%. Wankers.
