Xander definitely was much more tolerable when with Anya, it's true. And honestly I don't even know how I feel about Willow anymore (her and Xander both annoyed me quite a bit in terms of how they treated Buffy at times). All the more reason to rewatch. I'm totally fine with starting at season 5 or wherever.
