Hey this is pretty damn good. I've heard of The Charlatans but, as noted above, never actually heard any of their music. It's all really enjoyable from the off, with “Plastic Machinery” being an early standout. Also worthy of special note are “There Will Be Changes” and “Over Again”, but I have to say I hate “The Same House” - it's just too twee for words and I don't know what the hell they were thinking about with this one. Still, it's only a slight aberration, a small speed-bump on a pretty straight road, and normal service is soon resumed with “Let's Go Together”. Yeah, great album. Enjoyed that a lot.
