According to the reports I get from the power company he's using 10x that of the other households in my neighborhood. (One friend cautioned me that the feds are probably watching me thinking I'm growing or something.) He agreed to pay for his usage above and beyond my routine bill before he moved in and at present his balance is about $750. (I really hope he doesn't stiff me.)
He's been actively looking for a job and had a few promising interviews so I'm fairly confident he'll be able to comply with the 60-day notice I gave him.
Again, I'm looking at the coming spring as a clean slate / fresh start. I'm going to make the best of it.
