Assume that a record company hires a mercenary producer who cares not one iota for whether or not a piece of music he creates to be sung over by a hired gun pop star singer who's just in it for the fame and Twitter posts. No one involved in the making of the music considers it art, nor do they care whether or not it fits into the artistic community, but the teenagers who listen to it consider it music.
If it is only considered a product imitating music to all of those involved in the making of the song then is it music?
