Opened in 2004, if nothing else this thread shows us that disappointment in the quality of MB posting is nothing new. Even when the thread settles down to give some recs, some songs are mentioned and some lyrics are posted, but no-one manages to combine the two, to give us some sourced lyrics illustrative of love-lorn hardcore emo punks.
I come up blank of course, but to set the mood I'd like to mention a love poem that an acquaintance once showed me. Devoted to, and ultimately given to his girlfriend, it began:-
"I'm so happy I could shit"
If that's not punk love poetry, I don't know what is.
