I never collected comics. I bought them, read them, put them in a box or somewhere but never bothered about keeping them in good condition. Pity really, as I would have had all the original Marvels, the American "colour/glossy" ones too, and every prog of 2000AD. Ah well. No collector, I.
Think Dr. Strange but the character was created decades earlier. Except that this series was
about a boy and his step mother becoming Dr Fate at the same time and it doesn't make sense but it was the 80s so it didn't matter cause comics were bat**** crazy and awesome in the 80s. And there was bizarre incest.
