A friend of mine called this morning and asked if I would drive to another city with him to get a table he'd bought from some student dude. So we went to get that and took a stop by some sort of sci-fi convention on the way home. It wasn't really my kind of thing. So many people everywhere - some even in furry costumes - and just too many damn toys and too much merchandise garbage for sale everywhere. I guess that's what these conventions are? The guy who played the original Star Wars Boba Fett character was there, signing things. He looked really damn old. At least it was a quality table.
