Hard Candy was... I don't know what it is about her, but I find Ellen Page almost impossible to empathize with in any film I've ever seen her in. I don't think you were supposed to feel more for the pedo than the would-be victim, but honestly, there were scenes where I just wanted to shake her and tell her to shut the **** up.
