Seriously though, I've gotta say that Maryland is by far the worst southern state. Whole place is one big pile of disgusting and depressing shit, utterly void of any happiness. As soon as you cross the border, the air becomes dead and stale, and you're suddenly surrounded by rusty machinary and fields of dead grass, like you just stepped into Silent fucking Hill. Not even exaggerating.
And the people are irredeemable garbage that shit on anyone even slightly outside of their cultural norms in a desperate attempt to momentarily feel something other than the crushing despair of their pointless existence.
And don't even get me started on Baltimore.
Maryland is what fell out of America's ass after it got the stomach flu. Everything there is coated with a patina of misery.
