Haven't you ever been in a swimming pool? You don't drown at the shallow end.
I'm not a good swimmer tbh. I can do it, but I struggle after about 20 metres. I think it's poor technique as I tire myself out really quickly. It took me ages to get my 25 metre badge in school, was the last one to get it. Top sprinter though won all the sports day races >>>
