We sell DVDs as well as books and records. A lot of them are porn. We have softcore, hardcore, bad horror/sci fi movies with scantily clad women that really can't be called porn but we all know why you're watching it.
So much.
That sh*t sells so well it's not even funny. My boss Dan and I joke all the time that we're slowly but surely turning into a porn shop and that once one of us decides it's time to stock a ***** or blow up doll that it's time to close the store.
We have one customer that comes in and buys anything with asian women in it. It doesn't matter if they f*ck or not. He just wants to see them. He is one of the nicest most pleasant dudes to have a conversation with. He just loves his asian women. He spends a very large amount of money.
When we get sold a box of movies. My job is to go through it and separate the porn from the rest and give them to Dan because he's going to see how much they're going for on Amazon. A lot of weird rare ones go for a few hundred bucks sometimes. Ballpark is usually around 50 bucks. Boxes of porn are goldmines.
Dan has about 4,000 porn VHS tapes in boxes in his garage. He got them all from one cleaout he did from one single man. 4,000. FOUR THOUSAND.
Porn sells. It always will sell. Corey and I would have a lot to talk about.
