Watched A Single Man this evening. Did not disappoint. Very beautifully made, great acting, an interesting and heartfelt take on the topic of suicide unlike anything I've seen in any other movie. Also interesting and original as a "gay" movie.
I also loved how well done the use of different color schemes was. It could have been more of an empty gimmick (it usually is (Sin City, for example). Or very on the nose (see Schindler's List)), but in this case, it actually enriched the movie and let the script use fewer words, by hinting at the mental state of characters through color usage. Neat.
Put it on my "favorite movies" shelf when it was over.
