Love this album. I think AIC blend a lot of things that I really like in alternative rock - they sort of have this Guns N Roses vibe throughout all of their early material, but they're also very dark and gloomy. I like how they blend both of those styles to create their own sound, to the extent that only the most astute listener really seems to recognize the GnR influence. Metallica would go on to at least partially adopt this sound with Load ReLoad, which is the ultimate sign of respect from the biggest heavy metal band of all time. My favorite songs are "Them Bones" and "Would?". I could have easily have given this a 9, but I gave it an 8 because I give out too many high scores on these and it's too late to change it to a 9.
