At typical doses acid is more jarring. I’ve never taken way beyond doses but I’ve heard it said that shrooms can take you further. I’ve never had a full on bad trip but I’ve had some trouble stages on both. Shrooms don’t always let you off easy.
My advice to novice trippers is even if you start feeling frightened don’t say anything about it. Recognizing it verbally gives it strength.
