Basically, I find these songs really boring and unimaginative. Black Sabbath and Cathedral did all of this 10-30 years earlier and much better too. This album is largely one note. Dip into any random moment on the album and it's going to sound identical to almost any other moment on the album. That's an exaggeration, but I do think this album is repetitive and uninteresting.

The fact that the album is from 2000 makes it really unimpressive. If they spear headed this kind of music, at least then I could understand it being so underdeveloped. Take away the grimey production and it's just a bunch of really dull metal tunes with nothing much going for them.

I imagine you have a really pissant sound system at half volume so you couldn't possibly appreciate such a monster at decibels enough to crumble your entire block. This really brings home to me that you simply don't get metal at a primal level. This **** is so heavy and loud and raw that entire civilizations can not handle the tremors.
