Manufactured by the media as a response to the DOJ reports regarding the conduct of the FBI during the 2016 election, Peter Strzok, etc. The timing was interesting to say the least, especially since the whole thing was sparked by a fake viral photograph of a kid who wasn't even being detained...just ridiculous. Reminds me of the "Dairy = Scairy" garbage that made the rounds of social media last year.
You can go see some real articles on what actually goes on at the border at the National Review or something, but long story short the media and our crybaby snowflake nation turned this situation into a circus for no good reason and slowed down the administration's ability to respond effectively or coherently to an issue that needed more examination. Melania says a few things to Trump and he decides to do a EO. Yet even after all that, Schumer shuts down a surprisingly decent piece of presented legislation for no other reason than to be obstinate to real reform.
I wonder what it'll be next week. Four scoops of ice cream instead of two? Skittles instead of starburst? The mind boggles at the possibilities!
