i agree with hawk.
not that i would shoot another dog, but i hate when people in public places let their dogs off leash. i don't know anything about stranger dogs temperament and behavior, and the other people don't know anything about my dog. my dog will go nuts if he's on a leash an a non-leashed dog runs up on him, a lot of dogs will. it's irresponsible dog ownership.
again that's in a public place, different story altogether in an rv park.
