I bet this is Frown's favorite album by The Cure (perhaps Pornography instead). Its highly experimental mid-section I can see appealing to him. Now I hadn't listened to this album before today, and my feelings on an album often change after repeated listens, but as of now, this album is pretty great. A lot more of that classic Cure sound than the previous album, a little better songwriting. Some keys finally, to differentiate this fledgeling band from the majority of the post-punk/new wave crowd.

The atmospheres created on this album are really solid, and the tunes often have some driving beats and engaging melodies to back them up, so gonna have to go 8/10 on this one. Thanks, Robert!

SUGGEST ME AN ALBUM - I'm probably not going to listen to it but I will if you bother me enough.
