Be sure to visit the Cabrillo National Monument at the tip of Point Loma. The view is spectacular. On your way back stop by the Tide Pools - some of Mother Nature's best work. Other than that, you are literally in the middle of the best place in the USA. So many cool things to see, so many great places to eat.
The only unfortunate thing is the ****ing heat wave we're enduring right now (very uncommon).
