Well this one is getting a lot of traffic

I'll probably kill this project on Thursday if no one is interested. In the meantime, I'll give my thoughts on The Top.

Best Tracks: Wailing Wall, The Caterpillar

Weakest Tracks: Dressing Up, Bananafishbones

This is where the Cure is beginning to expand their sound a bit. They’re becoming more popular after making it on MTV in the states. They’re not really sounding commercial so much as the commercial aspects of the music business seem to be coming to them. In any event, this album is slightly weaker than their earlier efforts. They remain dark and do have their inspired moments, but honestly, this isn’t the first Cure album I’d take with me to a deserted island (unless Mary Ann could come along ).

6.5/10 (The Word Has Spoken )
