I do have some familiarity with this band as they had a hit with Easy Living in 1972. I also remember really liking The Magician’s Birthday. It starts off in kind of a headbanging fashion and Chasing Shadows sounds like vintage Heep. It tails off though and begins to sound like the typical metal fare of the early Eighties. Hot Night in particular sounds like it could have been recorded by Loverboy. That may be a little extreme but basically, outside of the first two tracks in particular, they sound like just about any metal band of the period trying to score their big hit. It could be worse though. At least they don’t sound like Motley Crue (bat attack pending
