At the risk of sounding like a tool reading from a script there isn't one. Metal rules my life and has since I was thirteen but the vast, vast majority of it isn't good for much else besides being a nerd with a testosterone imbalance, and the weirdo **** even when good generally sounds like people trying to be experimental who really shouldn't be stepping outside their lane.

And no matter how many genres I fall in love with none of them ever truly span the breadth of what I could want from music, so none of them are the best cause I still need to chuck them in the bin every now and again in disgust to find what I really want to listen to.

Post-punk is great and all but if I want what I get from country then post-punk is almost entirely useless.
