And the term 'white privilege' is used to separate it's self from other tribal biases our country practices since it's only speaking of the racial bias which happens to be stronger than our biases on religion, class and what ever else.
To name it 'majority privilege' or even 'racial privilege' is the same kind of side stepping in an effort to protect the feelings of people who are for some reason offended by the idea that they have a bias in their favor.
