I've been living with this for a couple of days now and I like it.
After
Pierce said that he'd never use a laptop to make music,
he's kinda had to because of being in such financial straits after
his health problems, etc. I hope he's comfortable working this way.
I can see it as a good "beginning" of new ways of thinking for him.
