Insanity. Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon were not only all great musicians, but great songwriters. Yes, hard to live up to playing alongside arguably, the greatest singer and front-man of the 70s-80s, but they all could have fronted a viable band without Freddie.

Some of my fave Queen songs were not written by Freddie.

Take a look at Queen's discography and who wrote what. You'll be more than surprised.
