If we're talking just pure "intensity" in a live setting type thing, I was pretty blown away by
Yamantaka Eye when he did a tour over here about ten years ago.
Acid Mothers Temple are massive (saw them on two separate occasions)...and I think another one where expectations were exceeded was when I saw
Devin Townsend at Royal Albert Hall in 2015. But that's one of those venues that brings out the best of pretty much any type of band, so *shrug*.
