Pounding the Pavement, the album they released early this year, was total ass. It may mark Anvil finally going down hill for me, which I find unfortunate.

Yeah, agreed. It's such a shame, as they never really had bad album prior to it.
As for me, first thing I can think of is Godsmack's new album
When Legends Rise. They used to be one of the heaviest bands that alternative metal had to offer, but just turned absolutely terrible radio fodder complete with those obnoxious "ohohohohohs" that makes them sound like Imagine Dragons with guitars.
