My mom wouldn't let me or my sister celebrate Halloween as children because she thought it was evil. But now, she lets my sister's kids [her grandkids / my niece and nephews] do whatever they want. Lame. Now I'm an adult who doesn't partake in Halloween traditions and feel like totally anachronistic, like a fish out of water.
