Rock doesn't affect me in everyday life.
It may have added a grasp of reality somewhere along the lines but other then that I just listen to rock/metal/prog because it's so much better then pop and rap
It's a joke, don't think I've just shunned two entire genres, though according to my tastes I'm deadly serious about it.
