I think a lot of Americans get the Balkans and the Baltic states confused. I’m not even going to comment on current quality of life but they’ve had a hard knocks past 100 years and being pressed up against Russia who treats you like rogue states instead of justly autonomous nations has to be a little stressful. Especially with Trump so serious about licking out Putin’s asscrack and what’s happened in Ukraine.
