Kevin Hart reminds me of Martin Lawrence minus the mental breakdown. I do like Kevin's stand-up but Martin was funnier yet Hart has had a better career. He seems to know how to play ball with Hollywood better but Hollywood kinda ruins these blacks comics.
they end up appearing in so many shtty movies you forget that comedians like Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence were once great stand up comedians cuz you get so used to seeing them in a fat suit dressed up as a woman.
This Martin stand up specifically still gets referenced from time to time by black and white comedians.
Hart's style of stand up doesnt seem that different from this and do i admit he's over hyped but i think my main problem with him is all those shtty movies he's been appearing in. Becuz i am kinda sick of him being everywhere, if he had just stick to stand up i wouldn't have a problem with him.
